Dr. James Skrenkowich
Chiropractor, Acupuncturist
Dr. James Skrenkowich is a board-certified Chiropractor who graduated from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. He also completed his Masters of Sports Science while attending school and gained valuable experience volunteering his time to many different sports teams in the area.
Prior to his time in Portland, Dr. Skrenkowich attended Camosun College where he completed his Bachelor of Athletic and Exercise Therapy. While completing this program, he was required to complete a 500 hour practicum with the Jr. B Victoria Cougars hockey team. While completing this practicum, he gained advanced knowledge in the prevention and rehabilitation of sports injuries.
Dr. Skrenkowich is excited to offer his services to the Medicine Hat community, which includes techniques such as Chiropractic Manipulation, Concussion Management, Functional Range Release Technique (FR), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, RockTape, and other types of prevention methods such as sports taping.

Dr. Marcia Kos
Chiropractor
Dr. Marcia Kos is a board certified chiropractor who completed her training in Portland, Oregon at the University of Western States in 2019. While in school. Dr. Kos completed extra training in pediatric and pregnancy care, RockTape, and FAKTR. Currently she is working on completing the clinical neuroscience program through Carrick Institute.
Prior to her chiropractic training, Dr. Kos completed a diploma in early childhood education and specialized in infant and toddler. This is where her passion to work with younger patients comes from. In addition to treating pediatric patients Dr. Marcia Kos also has a passion for managing concussion cases.
Originally from the Netherlands, Dr. Kos moved to Canada in 2008, and has now decided to make Medicine Hat home. She is excited to be part of this new community.

Dr. Kieran Claypool
Chiropractor, Acupuncturist
Dr. Kieran Claypool is a board certified chiropractor, who graduated from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon with distinctions. While studying at UWS Dr. Claypool additionally completed his Bacholer of Science in Human Biology. Prior to attending UWS, Dr. Claypool attended the University of Alberta where he graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology.
Dr. Claypool’s practice focuses on a whole body approach, utilizing both passive and active therapies to improve a patients pain and function. Dr. Claypool has completed training in Active Release Therapy (ART), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), and Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), all of which he is excited to implement into the services he provides.
Dr. Claypool is excited to be returning to his hometown of Medincie Hat and joining such a wonderful, diversely talented team at the Kinetic Centre.
Dr. Kayla Stegen
Chiropractor, Acupuncturist
Dr. Kayla Stegen is a board certified Chiropractor who graduated with distinction from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. While studying in Portland, she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, with distinction. Prior to her chiropractic education, Dr. Kayla studied Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan where she also competed as a pole vaulter on the Huskies track and field team.
Dr. Kayla is passionate about providing chiropractic care with a patient-centred approach. Her goal is to find the root cause of your pain and develop an individualized treatment plan to get you back doing the things you love. She utilizes a variety of techniques including manual manipulation, drop table adjusting, and both manual and instrument assisted muscle work. Additionally, Dr. Kayla has completed training in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and the Mckenzie Method (MDT). She believes that movement is medicine, so she emphasizes the importance of exercise rehabilitation in her practice.
After playing many different sports growing up, Dr. Kayla continues to live an active lifestyle. On the weekends, you can find her outside hiking, backcountry camping and skiing. She has also recently found a new interest in bouldering and sport climbing. She loves spending time in the mountains and photographing many special moments with her camera.

Dr. Teresa Lei
Chiropractor
Dr. Teresa Lei was born and raised in Medicine Hat. She began her studies in Kinesiology at Medicine Hat College before transferring to the University of Alberta. She then attended the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2020.
Dr. Teresa’s approach to care is focusing on the person as a whole. This means finding and treating the underlying cause in addition to the presenting symptoms. She uses a variety of techniques including chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapies, rehabilitation & strengthening exercises, and patient education. She has also taken additional adjusting and rehabilitation seminars to further enhance her skill set, including Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), McKenzie Method (MDT), and Motion Palpation Institute (MPI) courses. Her goal is to get you back to moving your best and doing what you love.

Kiana Mintz
Registered Massage Therapist
Kiana Mintz completed her 2200 Massage Therapy Diploma at the Southern Alberta Institute of Massage in Medicine Hat. Kiana originally chose Kinesiology as a career path before making the switch to Massage Therapy halfway through her degree. An avid athlete her whole life, Kiana played four years of college basketball and most recently finished her playing career with the Medicine Hat College Rattlers. Playing competitive sport helped Kiana to realize the importance of taking care of your body and she now strives to help all her clients attain a healthy, pain-free life. Kiana specializes in therapeutic, relaxation, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy, and will soon be continuing her education in other modalities.
When she is not in the treatment room, Kiana enjoys being active with both indoor and outdoor activities and has a passion for teaching young athletes all aspects of sports, both on and off the court.

Marley Nugent
Registered Massage Therapist
Marley Nugent Graduated from Alberta Collage of Massage Therapy in 2019, completing with a 2200-hour massage therapy diploma in honors. Her passion to help people is what drew her interest to massage therapy as a career. She offers a personalized approach to each individual clients needs and expectations in hopes to help them maintain a pain free lifestyle.
Marley has a great aptitude to make her clients feel welcome and relaxed. She is certified in relaxation, therapeutic and hot stone massage, along with static and dynamic cupping therapies, garston technique and reflexology. Marley enjoys learning new modalities and will continue to expand her knowledge through continuing education.
In Marley’s spare time she enjoys spending time in the outdoors she specifically enjoys camping, fishing, swimming, and golf even though she has not yet to master the game. She loves to travel and enjoys capturing as many moments as she can through photography. On the days you don’t find her outside you can catch her drawing, reading, or spending time with her loved ones.

Les Roberts
Registered Massage Therapist
Les specializes in sports injury therapeutic massage; which focuses on targeted deep tissue massage to aid with chronic pain and range of motion issues. Les comes from a background in personal training and competitive bodybuilding; allowing les to be extremely well versed in functional anatomy and sports massage therapy.
Alysha Stratton
Registered Massage Therapist
Alysha graduated from the Lethbridge Massage Therapy program (2200 hours) in 2019.
Alysha was a competitive gymnast growing up, so she understands the importance of taking
care of your body and has a good understanding of injury prevention. Alysha specializes in
relaxation, Therapeutic, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy. Since graduating Alysha has
taken training in myofascial cupping and gua sha. Gua sha is a natural, alternative therapy
that involves scrapping your skin with a massage tool to improve your circulation. Alysha is
also trained in pre and postnatal massage. Alysha plans on taking additional courses in
infant massage and many other courses as they arise. When Alysha isn’t in the clinic she is
either spending time with family, walking her dogs or going on camping trips.
